Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of Deposit (CDs)

Whether you want a secure investment or additional money to supplement monthly income, MidWestOne offers a variety of CD terms and flexible options. CDs are a well-established method of capturing a high rate of interest in return for investing your money for a specific period of time, ranging from one to 60 months. Consider the following CD options…

Flex CD

A flexible term, variable rate CD requires a $100 minimum deposit. The rate itself is determined by the time invested. The interest rate can change in your account at any time. You may add to the principal of the certificate at any time. Interest will be compounded on the calendar quarter. Terms available for 12, 18 and 24 months.

Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS)

Looking for a way to keep large deposits safe? Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service or CDARS is a great solution for businesses, nonprofit organizations, trustees, financial advisors and individuals. With CDARS, you can receive up to $30 million in FDIC protection through MidWestOne Bank.

Why CDARS?

How CDARS Works

When you deposit a large amount at MidWestOne Bank, we place your funds into CDs issued by CDARS network members. This allows MidWestOne Bank to provide you with access to up to $50 million in FDIC insurance and the convenience of one-stop banking. Click here to view a short video on how CDARS works.
